Position:

Security Engineer
Kuala Lumpur - Klang Valley

Responsibilities:

• To study and understand the technical aspects of various security threats from the network perspective to the web applications perspective. 
• To perform installation and customization for various security solutions and provide technical support.
• Involve in preparing presentation and hacking demonstration to clients.
• When sufficient progress has been shown, the candidate would have the opportunity to provide pre-sales and/or consultancy services for customers.
• The successful candidate would have the opportunity to be an understudy of a Senior Security Consultant.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Computer Science/Information Technology, Science & Technology or      equivalent.
• Required skill(s): Open Source Knowledge, Linux Administration
• Open Source Knowledge: Database, LDAP, Samba, Snort, IP Tables, Apache, Bind, etc
• Preferred skill(s): Firewall, IDS/IPS, SIEM, Content Filtering
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Applicants must be willing to work in KL.
• Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
• Preferably executives specializing in IT/Computer - Linux Systems.
• Full-Time positions available.
